A Note from our Founder...

Vince D'AcchioliAn architect and good friend of mine introduced me to the idea of The Third Place and to a book called "The Great Good Place" by Ray Oldenburg. What is The Third Place? Human beings have a need to socialize and connect in a place that is neither work nor home. A third place where we can gather, get together, connect and enjoy community. Most of us make do with crowded coffee shops or smoky taverns. It's hard to find anyplace close to home that's also close to our hearts. And thus the idea for The Place sprung into my head.

I envisioned creating a place to meet and eat that was close by, convenient and connected to the world at large. A place where you could gather with friends, family, co-workers or customers, or where you could stop in by yourself and feel connected to the rest of your community. I invite you to explore and enjoy all The Place has to offer. More than just a restaurant or coffee shop, it's a concept of community that I hope will become a favorite of yours for years to come.
