About The Place

If you are looking for high-energy or restorative workouts that boost strength from the inside out, we're The Place for you! We’re creating a fresh space for movement with weekly mat Pilates and yoga classes. Our classes mix low-impact training with light resistance, all to high-energy, upbeat music, tailored to every body and all fitness levels.

With our commitment to whole-body health, the Place is located on a wellness campus that is home to Stone Bank Farm Market and Nourish Organic Juice Bar, surrounded by 75 acres of conservation farmland.

The Place was created by Izzy Seidel and Piper Rosenheimer. Piper and Izzy both hold multiple mat Pilates certifications, and teach low impact, high intensity strength-building classes based on the foundations of the Mat Pilates Teacher Training developed by Fuze House in New York City and the Body Collective in Costa Mesa, CA. Come move with us and discover what your body is capable of.

Our Team

Abby S

Abby might be on the lake, skiing a mountain, riding her bike, or practicing law. In class, she loves an elevated deep core series with “Empire State of Mind” playing. A former collegiate waterskiing nationals competitor, she’s always up for a challenge—and wants you leaving class feeling strong and a little more centered.

Pilates

Abigael H

Abigael recently traded LA for her home state of Wisconsin, and she’s all about finding joy in movement. Her classes are upbeat and encouraging, with plenty of oblique work, a good plank burn, and probably some Missy Elliott. She wants you to challenge yourself without taking the whole thing too seriously.

Pilates / Yoga

Emily likes her classes approachable, her arm series spicy, and her playlists full of throwbacks and rap. She’ll help you find the challenge in small movements and leave feeling stronger, even if your arms are still shaking. Outside the studio, she’s trying a new recipe or convincing her husband the house needs one more decorating project.

Pilates

Emily

Courtney

Courtney brings a big heart and plenty of energy to class, especially when “One, Two Step” comes on. She loves a kneeling arm series and wants you leaving strong and energized. Outside the studio, she’s at a country concert, hanging with her goats, ducks, and chickens, or planning another trip to Hawaii.

Pilates

Emmy

Emmy brings a thoughtful, intuitive approach to yoga and Pilates, giving you room to notice how movement feels in your body. Her classes are grounding and gently guided, with space to explore. Outside the studio, she teaches private clients, cooks plant-based meals, and usually has a cashew-milk cortado and Dominic Fike music nearby.

Pilates / Yoga

Amanda

Born and raised in Oconomowoc, Amanda is happiest outside, on the water, or with an extra dirty chai in hand. In class, she loves pairing movements that build strength and balance, with a classic teaser burnout thrown in. Expect an upbeat class that leaves you feeling more confident in what your body can do.

Pilates

Jamie

A Lake Country girl with one too many hobbies, Jamie is usually running, floating on a lake, or finding a great song for her next class. She loves matching movement to music and sneaking in something that gets your heart rate up. Come ready to work, laugh, and leave feeling stronger.

Pilates

Kaitlyn

Kaitlyn is sweet with a little spice, and her yoga and Pilates classes follow suit. She brings a thoughtful approach to movement, plenty of energy, and a love for a glute bridge that burns. Take her class when you want to work hard and have a little time to reconnect with yourself.

Pilates / Yoga

Izzy

Izzy fell in love with contemporary Pilates in NYC and brought that love home to The Place. A former Division 1 runner, she’s big on strong cores, upbeat music, and a challenging workout that’s easy on the joints. She tries to drink decaf—and was once struck by lightning, which might explain the energy.

Pilates

Piper

Piper loves a workout, a laugh, and any excuse to dance. After living in San Francisco and Chicago, she found her way back to Lake Country. Her classes bring that same love of a good time to the mat: plenty of energy, a little—or a lot—of burn, and encouragement along the way.

Pilates

Landis

Originally from Atlanta, Landis brings southern warmth and a love of community to her yoga classes. She wants everyone to feel comfortable exploring, asking questions, and finding their footing. Expect grounding movement, a favorite malasana squat, and a welcoming place to breathe and build strength—with a little throwback nostalgia in the mix.

Yoga

Lauren

A former Milwaukee Bucks dancer and mom of little ones, Lauren brings rhythm, precision, and plenty of energy to Barre with Babes. She loves a good lunge and anything that gets the thighs burning. Her classes will make you work, but she also wants you to feel welcome and part of the group.
